The Sangham’s Memorandum of Association includes a wide range of social and welfare objectives beyond its current sanitation-led operations.
- Education, literacy, cultural and vocational-development activities.
- Health awareness, healthcare support and family-welfare programmes.
- Support for socially disadvantaged, poor and vulnerable communities.
- Women and child welfare programmes.
- Relief activities during situations such as cyclone, famine and other community needs.

These objectives form the Sangham’s wider social-service mandate, while its documented operational work currently has strong emphasis on sanitation, public facilities, manpower and institutional services.
